Sree Supranayi, a 25-year-old Indian entrepreneur, is on a mission to revolutionize space exploration and manufacturing. With a dream of making space a hub for industrial activities, she co-founded AnduraX, a startup focused on developing reusable spaceplanes. AnduraX's unique selling point is its reusable spaceplane design, which can land smoothly on a runway, unlike current vehicles that land in the ocean, making recovery time-consuming. The company's first high-altitude balloon drop experiment in May 2026 validated key guidance, navigation, and control technologies, paving the way for demonstration missions by 2028 and cargo operations for the Bharatiya Antariksh Station by 2030. Supranayi's vision extends beyond pharmaceuticals, envisioning space as the next industrial hub for industries like semiconductors and advanced materials.
